Reza Fekri / Tenor

Endowed with a luminous voice, remarkable agility and great freedom in the high register, Reza Fekri has the characteristic qualities of the most sought-after light tenors. The flexibility of his voice, his musicality and the elegance of his singing line particularly orient him towards the Rossinian repertoire and bel canto. Born in Tehran in 1992, Reza Fekri began his musical and vocal training as a teenager. After several years of study in Iran and Turkey, he took his first steps as a soloist in 2015 with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, performing Carmina Burana by Carl Orff and Alamdar under the direction of conductor and composer Alexander Rahbari. This meeting marks the beginning of an artistic collaboration that will sustainably accompany his journey.

In 2025, he returned for the third time to the Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra in Saint Petersburg in So Spoke Zarathustra, thus continuing a collaboration with Alexander Rahbari begun ten years earlier in Tehran. That same year, he tackled the French baroque repertoire with the Première Parque in Hippolyte et Aricie by Rameau, then sang the Te Deum by Charpentier under the direction of Hervé Niquet.

That same year Reza Fekri appeared at the Croatian National Zagreb Theater (HNK) the role of Count Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia by Rossini, an emblematic role in the light tenor repertoire.
