Spinto soprano, Nadège Meden is distinguished by an intense stage presence and a voice with strong dramatic projection, capable of embracing broad expressive arcs. Her approach to singing is based on a constant search for dramatic continuity, vocal color and expressive tension. Her repertoire revolves around the great heroines of the Italian and Germanic repertoire.
She notably performs Floria Tosca (Tosca, Puccini), a role that she will sing at the Le Courant Passe Festival in Paris in 2026 as well as at the Busseto Opera. She also discusses Ariadne (Ariadne auf Naxos, R. Strauss), Turandot (Turandot, Puccini), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth, Verdi), Aida (in concert), Elisabetta (Don Carlos, Verdi, Opéra Comique), Elettra (Idomeneo, Mozart), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte, Mozart), the title role of Carmen, Frasquita (Carmen, Bizet), Dido (Didon et Aeneas, Purcell), as well as Freia and Woglinde (Rhinegold, Wagner).
Finalist of the Accademia Voci Verdiane of the Teatro Regio di Parma, she continues extensive work on the Verdian repertoire.
In concert, she is solo soprano in Górecki's Symphony No. 3 with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia at the Festival Internacional de Música Sacra de Bogotá under the direction of Manuel Hernández-Silva (2022). She also appears in Verdi's Requiem (dir. Paul Kuentz) as well as in Fauré's Requiem. Her activity as a recitalist notably includes the Vier letzte Lieder by Richard Strauss.
She is also developing the discographic project À l'heure contrôlée, devoted to the melodies of female composers, with the pianist Soraya Verdier (recording planned for September 2026). In parallel with her stage career, she participates in the documentary Charlotte Sohy – the consecration of a composer(dir. Matthias Weber, broadcast France Télévisions, 2026) and carries out mediation actions with young audiences.
Trained and active between France, Italy and Germany, she speaks French, Italian, English and German fluently, an asset in her approach to repertoires Europeans. She has worked with artists such as Jennifer Larmore, Grace Bumbry and Nadine Denize, who have deeply influenced her vocal and stage approach.
