Coming from a family of musicians, Charlotte Coulaud began playing the piano at five years old. She trained with Elena Filonova at the Darius Milhaud Conservatory (Paris), before joining the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in the class of Brigitte Engerer, where she obtained a Master's degree with unanimous honors. She continued her improvement with Bruno Rigutto at the École Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot and at the Schola Cantorum in Paris.
Laureate of several international competitions, she notably won the 1st Prize of the Concours International d'Île-de-France – Maisons-Laffitte (Concert Diploma), the 1st Prize of the Virtuosos of the Heart, as well as the Jury Prize – Prix Jean Clostre at the Thursdays of Piano of Geneva.
She was also distinguished at the Claude Bonneton Competition and the Barcelona Piano Academy, and benefits from the support of the Banque Populaire Foundation.
A precocious soloist, she performed at the age of eight with the National Radio Orchestra Bucharest. Since then, she has had regular activity in Europe and has performed with groups such as the Pannon Philharmonic, the Camerata du Léman, the Ploiești Philharmonic Orchestra and the Jove Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona.
She is invited to several festivals and seasons dedicated to the piano, including Pianoscope, Piano en Saintonge, the Artemus Festival and the Pontlevoy Festival.
Her repertoire revolves around the great works of Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt to modern and contemporary works.
In parallel with her concert activity, she develops stage projects, notably within the Compagnie d'Être(s) at the Théâtre Essaïon (Paris), with the show Chemins d’Amour, combining music and poetry.
