Alena Osminkina Pianiste

Born in Moscow in 2000, Alena Osminkina stands out today as one of the most promising young pianists of her generation. She began studying the piano at the age of six and very early developed a particular affinity for the Russian romantic repertoire. She continued her training at the prestigious Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree, before currently undertaking a Master's degree under the direction of Professor Mikhail Trushechkin.

Alena Osminkina's career is marked by numerous awards, reflecting both her virtuosity and her artistic maturity. Among the most recent and significant: the Campus International Piano Competition 2025 (France, Pontoise) for which she was awarded a 2nd Prize and 4 special prizes:
• L'Envol “Demain Virtuoses” Prize
• Les Étoiles du Classique Prize
• Prize for the best interpretation of contemporary creation (Concerto-Minute by Régis Campo)
• Internet Users' Prize (public vote)

She also holds other notable distinctions such as:
• Scriabin Special Prize, Russian Piano Music International Competition (Italy, Sanremo – 2024)
• 2nd Prize, International Competition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Rachmaninov (Russia, Saint-Petersburg – 2023)
• 3rd Prize, Second International Competition for Young Pianists named after Rachmaninov (Moscow – 2020)
• 2ᵉ Prize, First International Competition for Young Pianists named after Rachmaninoff (Moscow – 2018)
• Winner, 5th International Festival for Young Pianists H. Neuhaus (Moscow – 2018)
• 3rd Prize, Alfred Schnittke International Competition (Moscow – 2017)
• 2nd Prize, Musical Fireworks in Baden Württemberg (Germany – 2015).

She has also been selected to participate in international competitions such as the Takamatsu International Piano Competition and the China Shenzhen Piano Concerto Competition.

Thanks to an already very rich concert activity, Alena Osminkina has performed in many countries: Russia, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, China, Turkey, Kazakhstan. She has played as a soloist with several ensembles, including the orchestra of the Regional Conservatory of Cergy-Pontoise (conductor: Haïk Davtian), the Orchestra of the Alfred Schnittke State Institute of Music (conductor: Igor Gromov) and the Orchestra of the Gnessine Music College (conductor: Victor Lutsenko).

Her repertoire highlights: the great Russian composers (Rachmaninov, Scriabin, Prokofiev), the European romantic repertoire, contemporary works, which she regularly defends in competitions.
She is particularly noted for the energy of her interpretations, a full sound and a deep understanding of Russian style.

Alena benefited from the teaching of great masters during masterclasses: Alexander Korsantia, Ming Qiang Li, Daniel Burstein, Miguel Salazar, Andrey Diev. These encounters nourished him with an artistic maturity which shines through in each of his performances. She is distinguished by a solid technique, inherited from the Russian school of piano, and an expressive interpretation, particularly in the romantic repertoire. She also has a strong commitment to contemporary music, as evidenced by her distinctions at the Piano Campus 2025 and her sincere stage presence, combining power and sensitivity.

At only twenty-five years old, she continues an upward trajectory on the international scene, where her talent continues to seduce juries, orchestras and audiences.
