The flexibility of his voice, his musicality and the elegance of his singing line particularly orient him towards the Rossinian repertoire and bel canto. Invited three times as a soloist at the <strong>Mariinsky Theater in Saint Petersburg<\/strong>, he also performed with the <strong>Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra<\/strong> and recorded for <strong>Naxos Records<\/strong>.<br><br>Born in Tehran in <strong>1992<\/strong>, Reza Fekri began his musical and vocal training as a teenager. After several years of study in Iran and Turkey, he took his first steps as a soloist in <strong>2015<\/strong> with the <strong>Tehran Symphony Orchestra<\/strong>, performing <em>Carmina Burana<\/em> by Carl Orff and <em>Alamdar<\/em> under the direction of conductor and composer <strong>Alexander Rahbari<\/strong>. This meeting marks the beginning of an artistic collaboration that will sustainably accompany his journey.<br><br>From <strong>2018<\/strong>, this collaboration takes on an international dimension with the creation of <em>My Mother Persia<\/em> in Antalya and several recording projects. In <strong>2019<\/strong>, he performed Anton\u00edn Dvo\u0159\u00e1k's <em>Requiem<\/em> as a tenor soloist with the Iran Philharmonic Choir in Tehran. In <strong>2020<\/strong>, he made his international recording debut at <strong>Naxos Records<\/strong> with <em>Morshed \u2013 My Mother Persia 3<\/em> by Alexander Rahbari.<br><br>The year <strong>2022<\/strong> marks a turning point in his career. In March, he was invited as a tenor soloist by the <strong>Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra<\/strong> for the world premiere of <em>So Spoke Zarathustra Spitama<\/em> by Alexander Rahbari at the Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb. In September, he made his debut at the <strong>Mariinsky Theater in Saint Petersburg<\/strong>, where he performed the work again with the <strong>Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra<\/strong>, under the composer's direction. The same year, he was also invited to the <strong>Helikon Opera in Moscow<\/strong> for the <em>Opera Stars of the Caspian Sea Countries<\/em> gala.<br><br>Based in Croatia since <strong>2022<\/strong>, Reza Fekri continues his training at the <strong>Music Academy of the University of Zagreb<\/strong> with the mezzo-soprano <strong>Renata Pokupi\u0107<\/strong>, alongside the development of his career as a soloist.<br><br>In <strong>2024<\/strong>, he is once again invited to the <strong>Mariinsky Theater<\/strong> as a tenor soloist in <em>My Mother Persia<\/em>. In Zagreb, the same year, he performed <em>Davide penitente<\/em> by <strong>Mozart<\/strong> with the Symphony Orchestra and the Choir of the Academy of Music, under the direction of Pavao Ma\u0161i\u0107.<br><br>In <strong>2025<\/strong>, he returned for the third time to the <strong>Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra<\/strong> in Saint Petersburg in <em>So Spoke Zarathustra<\/em>, thus continuing a collaboration with <strong>Alexander Rahbari<\/strong> begun ten years earlier in Tehran. That same year, he tackled the French baroque repertoire with the <strong>Premi\u00e8re Parque<\/strong> in <em>Hippolyte et Aricie<\/em> by <strong>Rameau<\/strong>, then sang the <em>Te Deum<\/em> by <strong>Charpentier<\/strong> under the direction of <strong>Herv\u00e9 Niquet<\/strong>.<br><br>In <strong>2026<\/strong>, Reza Fekri performed the <em>Requiem<\/em> by <strong>Mozart<\/strong> with the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of the Zagreb Music Academy under the direction of <strong>Mladen Tarbuk<\/strong>, as well as the <em>Stabat Mater<\/em> by <strong>Rossini<\/strong> with the Vara\u017edin Chamber Orchestra. He also played <strong>Sohrab<\/strong> in the opera <em>Kherad<\/em> by Ebrahim Bazrafkan in Shiraz and performed at the opening of the <strong>KotorArt International Festival<\/strong>, in Montenegro, in <em>Triptihon<\/em> by Ivan Brkanovi\u0107 under the direction of Mladen Tarbuk.<br><br>That same year Reza Fekri appeared at the <strong>Croatian National Zagreb Theater (HNK)<\/strong> the role of <strong>Count Almaviva<\/strong> in <em>Il barbiere di Siviglia<\/em> by Rossini, an emblematic role in the light tenor repertoire. His next announced engagements also include the <strong>Chevalier<\/strong> in Poulenc's <em>Dialogues des Carmelites<\/em> and the tenor solo part in <em>Carmina Burana<\/em> by Carl Orff with the Invited three times as a soloist at the <strong>Mariinsky Theater in Saint Petersburg<\/strong>, he also performed with the <strong>Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra<\/strong> and recorded for <strong>Naxos Records<\/strong>.<br><br>Born in Tehran in <strong>1992<\/strong>, Reza Fekri began his musical and vocal training as a teenager. After several years of study in Iran and Turkey, he took his first steps as a soloist in <strong>2015<\/strong> with the <strong>Tehran Symphony Orchestra<\/strong>, performing <em>Carmina Burana<\/em> by Carl Orff and <em>Alamdar<\/em> under the direction of conductor and composer <strong>Alexander Rahbari<\/strong>. In March, he was invited as a tenor soloist by the <strong>Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra<\/strong> for the world premiere of <em>So Spoke Zarathustra Spitama<\/em> by Alexander Rahbari at the Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb. In September, he made his debut at the <strong>Mariinsky Theater in Saint Petersburg<\/strong>, where he performed the work again with the <strong>Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra<\/strong>, under the composer's direction.
